I had a fantastic stay at Kent House B&B. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the heart of Cork. The hosts were pleasant and offered helpful advice for exploring the city. Parking was convenient, with a disc provided for street parking. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. Despite the street noise, the room was well isolated and provided a peaceful sleep when I closed the windows. I highly recommend this B&B for a cozy and convenient stay in Cork.

Cleanliness
The whole building is pretty old and would need to be restored. Room was however fair.

It was nice and warm. The heat was on and stayed on!! The location was great and safe for a solo traveller. The innkeepers provided excellent knowledge and recommendations regarding the area. Breakfast was hearty and filling. Ghe room was clean, the bed very comfortable. The wifi worked without a glitch. Good solid comfort at a reasonable price.
I found it hard to get a timely response by email.

The owners were flexible for our check-in time and the location was a very short walk to the train station, when we had to catch our early morning train. The location was perfect to walk to the city centre area for shopping, dinner and a few drinks. We had one of the best homemade Irish breakfasts as well! My friends and I really enjoyed it and would recommend this for anyone travelling through.

The location is great, just beside the train station if you want to leave luggage. It was quiet and even though it wasn't a modern building the place was modernised, fresh and clean. The owners were nice, unintrusive and would be more than happy to help you find where you're going to.

Walkable area with good shopping, free breakfast and WiFi. The frequent shuttle service between the railway station and the airport was a lifesaver, because surely I couldn't have taken a taxi. How delightful to be able to practice my golf swing on their course! Cons: 19th-century townhouse with no elevator. So charming, just what I needed to exercise my leg muscles.

Kent House is a fabulous B&B, a home from home. The beds were comfortable, everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast was brilliant, especially the homemade banana bread and oat cookies. Lorraine and John were so helpful, helping us with train tickets and giving great recommendations. The location by the train station was very convenient. We'll definitely stay at Kent House again.
Would recommend this B&B.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were friendly and helpful with providing information about the area. Plus, the location was convenient for exploring the town and visiting local attractions.
The noise from the nearby train tracks was quite disruptive and made it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep. the area around the hotel felt a bit sketchy and didn't seem very safe.
